Revenue Cycle Associate
Primary Responsibilities
- Patient Claim Coordination duties (patient contact, Insurance company contact, managing accounts receivable)
- Administration duties (adhering to all relevant protocols and company policies and procedures, interdepartmental communications)
- Professional Development duties (staying current with all relevant knowledge understanding and skills required for the job, attending skill building workshops, doing own performance review)
Skills / Qualifications
- Must be an effective and disciplined self-manager

- Strong interpersonal relationship building skills
- An organized work ethic that includes paying attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritize work with changing deadlines

- Demonstrated ability to understand and implement verbal and written direction as directed
- Intermediate level Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 or higher
- Required manual dexterity for using a calculator, computer keyboard and capturing information in writing
Education/Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management process
- Experience in claim status, denial management and follow up
- Strong background in Motor Vehicle/Workers’ Compensation and/or Commercial insurance a plus.
- Knowledge of EHR systems and medical coding is preferred
