Client Liaison Associate

Fellow Health Partners is seeking a full-time representative with experience in the Medical Billing Cycle specifically as it applies to supporting Clients. This position is based out of our Great River, NY office (East Islip area).

Education/Experience

  • BS or BA College degree
  • Minimum 5 years Medical Billing and/or Medical Coding experience – Medical Billing knowledge must be sufficient to analyze medical policies and with the demonstrated ability to educate and explain to providers how they should implement/institute appropriate changes within their practices
  • Experience working with multiple medical billing software programs (preferably EPIC, SequelMed and PHI) and the demonstrated ability on how to use these programs to generate claims, invoices, and reports to maximize billing returns
  • Experience analyzing financial and medical coding data, i.e. payor mix changes, effects of procedure, coding changes, and demographic shifts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel – with the ability to manipulate financial reports)

Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in a highly visible, client-facing role which includes meeting regularly with doctors, their staff, and hospital administration
  • Demonstrated well developed Critical Thinking and Presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work under pressure and to organize and track multiple practice requests and confirm delivery of same on a consistently timely basis
  • Willingness and ability to work early/late hours as needed
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
