Customer Service Associate
Fellow Health Partners is seeking a full-time or part-time representative with experience in Patient Contact Customer Service. This position is based out of our Great River, NY office (East Islip area).
Primary Responsibilities
- Patient Payment Coordination duties (Patient contact – incoming and follow-up calls)
- Administration duties (adhering to all relevant protocols and company policies and procedures, interdepartmental communications)
- Professional Development duties (staying current with all relevant knowledge understanding and skills required for the job, attending skill building workshops, doing own performance review)
Education/Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service either in person or in a Call Center
- High School diploma
- Higher Education a plus
- Basic understanding of Medical Insurance coverage a plus

- Demonstrated ability to understand and implement verbal and written direction as directed
- Intermediate level Microsoft Word and Outlook skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 or higher
- Required manual dexterity for using a calculator, computer keyboard, scanner and capturing information in writing
- Proficient in English
- Proficiency in Spanish a plus
- Reliable transportation to and from the company office
