Preparation course to become a Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

The Preparation course for the Certified Professional Coder is designed to prepare the student for a career in medical coding. This course is particularly geared for the professional billing of physicians, certified nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in the office, operating room, emergency room, and inpatient settings. This is a 16-week course with live/remote clinicians and billing professionals with over 20 years of experience in the field, one hour per week. This is in addition to online independent self-paced learning of an additional 2-3 hours per week. This course is designed to completely prepare the student to successfully take the AAPC sponsored CPC course and obtain Certified Professional Coder status. Upon successful completion of the course the student will receive 40 CEUs and a Certificate of course completion from the completion from the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC).
